Let’s meet at the Edge of Vancouver Downtown, between Yaletown and the recently revamped Granville Street area. Opening the Entertainment district, this Lounge offers a large, modern yet comfortable room with lounge seating. L’apéro du jeudi à Vancouver cherche son gentil organisateur !
Ce que fait concrètement l’organisateur ou organisatrice (évidemment) de l’apéro du jeudi à Vancouver :
- il boit des coups
- il trouve un bar différent tous les 15 jours pour emmener ces petits camarades apéroclubbers
- il anime une petite communauté d’apéroclubber : annonces des apéros sur le blog et sur le groupe facebook
- il raconte (avec passion) comment s’est déroulé le dernier apéro et note le bar visité avec un petit article et des photos sur le blog
- et il se fait plaisir à rencontrer les apéroclubbers, les nouveaux, les nouvelles, les amies d’amiiiiiis…
Tu es le ou la GO idéal(e) de l’apéro du jeudi à Vancouver si :
- tu as envie de découvrir ou de faire découvrir Vancouver et ses lieux de fêtes
- tu aimes partager tes découvertes et faire des photos

The fringe cafe is funky, its ecclectic, it seeks to revive the essence of “cafe culture” that has thrived in the streets of Paris and the cafes of Amsterdam and San Francisco. Its part beatnic, part hippie, part working class. Its about people gathering to relax and converse about everything and nothing. Cafes are where culture takes shape and counter-culture germinates, there can be no pretext or expectation. At the fringe cafe you can be yourself.

Welcome to the JUNCTION PUB, Vancouver’s newest neighbourhood Pub/Club. The only place of it’s kind in the Davie Village. They’re located at 1138 Davie Street, between Bute & Thurlow.
They have 7 flat screens and 2 projection screens for all your sporting needs, all in HD. Feel like playing a game? They have a raised game area with a pinball machines, arcade games, pool table, dart board and much more.

The Raw Canvas is a coffee shop by day and a lounge by night in the heart of Yaletown. They serve organic tapas and earth-frienldy wines. Where they can, they buy organic and biodynamic from local growers. The Raw Canvas is also an Art gallery where you can, well… buy your own raw canvas. They provide all the paint and brush you need to “free your inner artist”!
Sounds great right? So come to The Raw Canvas, 1046 Hamilton Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 2R9 on Thursday February 11st at 7:00pm for a drink, or two, and food or painting but definitely: lot of fun!
