It was a very nice place. two very large areas. You can taste a very wide range of beers. A bit noisy.

Alibi Room is a the place for local craft beer on tap. They have become a true Free House, pouring guest beers from all over the province and beyond. In Gastown occupies 2 lower floors: You can eat small, large or share plates & there is a list of 100 beers, so make your choice ! (You can also book for a private party).

Once again, it was a nice surprise (the vue on the old Gassy Jack place : Gastown aera has definitly something special) I appreciated it so I recommande it !

6 Acres in Gastown : An old place in a old aera (in the Alhambra building, the oldest brick building in Vancouver)
You can eat and, there is one of the most extensive beer lists in Vancouver.

A place to go for excellent atmosphere, really good music, like back to the 65′s : The Yale is the city’s best blues hangout.
Cover only during week end, happy hour until 6pm, 1 dance floor, 2 pool tables, 3 concerts in the same evening (open jams during week end !)

This Jazz Club (the best in Vancouver) is for anyone : regular, interested or curious about first-quality live jazz experience at an affordable rate.
The club is small, intimate and above all a solid venue for the sound of jazz. Just to know : The food was not really good, so don’t go there for eating guys.
Check the calendar on the website, price will depend of the cover. Drinks include a choice of over 50 cocktails, wines, beers, juices (No happy hour)

This pub was a good surprise ! I recommend it, a really pleasant & welcoming place, there are differents atmospheres : the bar, the ice hockey match on a big screen, the fire place…etc, cosy or not : make your choice ! And you can taste your beer before order it (I ’ve tasted the Red Devil ale, a really good one, almost like the Pale ale)
And the music is very good : The Cure, Babychambles, U2 and… Morrissey of course !!

I start the new concept of “having a drink in a new place in Vancouver to discover the city & his pubs”
So, every 2 weeks on Thursday, I will give you an appointment to join us for having a drink in a friendly atmosphere & at each time, in a different place (you can stay 5 minutes… you can stay 5 hours, like you want !)
